Newton St. Petrock has a historic connection to St. Petrock, one of the many Celtic saints who brought Christianity to the West Country. Subsequently it was linked to Bodmin Priory in Cornwall.
Today we are a small but active worshiping church community, sharing with our Baptist friends in the village and the neighbouring Anglican churches. Worship is maintained on a regular basis and pastoral care is available to all.
We have just renewed our bells: a peal of 3. They are now able to chime by means of an electronic system.
